A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Since Dani is gonna release Karlson in 2069, and I'm another milk drinking Karlson fan, I decided to make my own version of Karlson multiplayer.

Karlson Multiplayer is a remade version of the original game karlson with of course, some multiplayer. Right now, due to lack of players (and totally not because I'm broke af), this game will run on the free version of photon, which means that only upto 20 players can play at a time, all servers inclusive.

(Yes this game might not be as good as the original trailer, so don't hate on me, I made it in literally one week for fun lol)

Jump - Space Bar
Crouch - Left Ctrl
Shoot - Left Click

View Scoreboard - Tab

Update (15 July 2021)

Fixed a known issue where players fall out of the map.
Fixed a known issue where players re spawn without full ammo.
Fixed a known issue players can kill themselves with their own guns at high speeds.
Fixed a known issue where players see inaccurate hit points.
Fixed a known issue where players faced crashes after joining or hosting lobbies.
Fixed a known issue where sometimes pistols don't play animations.
Added small changes to map.
Added in-game chat system.
Added in-game player kill-feed, and player join and leave messages.
Added builds for Windows (32 bit and 64 bit), Mac and Linux

Update (19 July 2021)

Fixed a known issue where players have inaccurate hit-box detection while being shot at.
Minor tweaks to gun damage system.
Added small changes to map.
Added in-game scoreboard system.

PS: Recently, players have started having issues with creating and joining lobbies, and after some looking around, I have noticed that the photon servers have reached their maximum of 20 players capacity (I'm using the free plan of photon which limits the number of players like I mentioned at the start of the description). So, one option would be to wait till there are lesser than 20 active players.

For players having issues with creating lobbies, try following these steps :

After launching the game, type in a username.
Once the lobby screen is loaded, type in a lobby name and select the maximum number of players that can join a lobby.
Click create lobby. You can either wait for everyone to join the lobby and then start the game or start immediately and wait till other players join

Install instructions

Windows

Download .zip file
Place it in a folder anywhere on your PC
Right click > Extract Here
Double click on Karlson Multiplayer.exe
Change server settings to the same as your friends in the settings panel
Drink milk & Enjoy

Mac

If the game doesn't work after unzipping, try to use another unarchiver program. The Unarchiver is one for example.

Linux

Right click > Properties > Permissions and tick "Allow this application to run as a program"
